Building applications dominated the agenda of the meeting of the market town council in schondra.
There was a long discussion about the application for a preliminary decision for the construction of a new building for the company mobel und raum in the industrial area marzgrund.A building with five full stories is planned, whereas the development plan only provides for two full stories. From a submitted sketch it appeared that the building would only slightly overhang the existing span tower because of the sloping land. Nevertheless, roman jorg (CSU) was of the opinion that the building, located directly at the access road to the industrial area, was too high and too dominating. Andreas martin (CBB) argued similarly, accepting a reduction to four full stories; his motion to request documents on the height of the building with corresponding views from the applicant did not find a majority with 5:5 votes.
No right of appeal for applicants
The motion by carmen schaab (ABS) to grant the applicant the right to speak was defeated by 4 votes to 6. In the vote on this proposal, there was again no majority with 5:5 votes, so that the proposal was not approved.

Thus, the master carpenters received 900 euros for toilet partitions and 996 euros for the replacement of window sills on the upper floor and the company mobel und raum 9500 euros for shelves and cabinet.
In addition, the mayor informed that the elementary school had received a donation from the sparkasse bad kissingen, which will be used, among other things, for the purchase of a hydro-apple press.
Regarding the results of the 2019 financial statements, he announced that with a total volume of 5.6 million euros, the additions to the general budget amounted to 508 130 euros, the withdrawal of reserves 949 737 euros and the reserve balance 4.1 million euros.
