The honorees

Reinhold schaad is with 81 years the oldest member of the band and one of the few lyre-players in the district. He learned to play the piano in 1947, when he was eleven years old, and three years later he sabered on the organ stand of the parish church of st. Germany. Kilian in pfarrweisach. To this day, he also plays the organ in the church in kraisdorf.
Hans schneidawind is only one year young and has been playing his trombone since the band’s founding. Ludwig dirauf has also been active for 60 years. Rudi eller described schonmann as one of the founding fathers of brass music. Eller had met with willy grimmer, ernst kettler and friedrich muller several times in 1970 to finally meet "at the buhler’s" invited to the foundation of a band. Like dirauf, rudi eller started playing the piano in 1957, was in the fischbach trombone choir and then in the kraisdorf brass band. Today he plays the bass trumpet.
