At the voluntary fire department unterzettlitz this year again performance examinations were on the agenda. Two groups of firefighters successfully passed the "firefighting group" test.
The skills of the pruflings were tested during the water extraction at the hydrant, the laying of the hoses, the handling of three jet pipes for fire fighting and the coupling of a suction line for water extraction. In addition, each level had to complete additional tasks such as the correct execution of firefighting knots and the answering of various technical questions. After about six weeks of intensive training, the groups were able to show all their skills under the leadership of commander and group leader holger knipper. The auditors alexander zahner, KBM christian schilder and thomas schwarz attested to the excellent performance of the fire brigade. The following awards were presented: bronze: tamara schnapp, holger then, sascha huth, luca erhardt, nils erhardt, eric brauer; silver: andreas leicht, patrick helmreich; gold: manuel wurstlein, christina surenthiran; gold-blue: johannes leicht; gold-grun: alexander wendler; gold-red: christine leicht. Local speaker barbel kocheler expressed her pride in the fire brigade.
